What is closed-type vertical photobiotechnological hydroponics technology?

Vertical closed-type photobiotechnological hydroponics is a modern method that allows the cultivation of plants without the use of soil, where the plants grow in vertical structures, within a specially designed and insulated container unit. Instead of soil, the plants grow in a nutrient solution that contains all the necessary ingredients for their growth, while LED lighting technology is used to provide the necessary photosynthetic spectrum for each type of crop.

How does it work?

Plants are placed in inert substrates, such as rockwool or perlite, and their roots float in a nutrient solution. This solution provides the plants with the necessary nutrients, such as nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, and others. The process involves the use of systems that provide the nutrients in the water and control the conditions of lighting, temperature, humidity, CO2, nutritional indicators, and many other parameters, ensuring optimal growth conditions.
